Water Towers

Water towers consist of water tanks and support structures.

The regulatory role of a water tower is so: in hours of the reduction of water consumption, the excess water, supplied by the pump station, is stored in a water tower and is spent in hours of the increased water consumption. The height of a water tower (the distance from the ground surface to the tank bottom) is typically less than 25 m, in rare cases it is 30 m; tank capacity can be from a few tens cubic meters (for small water pipelines) to several thousand cubic meters (in large urban and industrial water pipelines).
